A. iFire™ offers unrestricted viewing angles, full color, rapid video response speeds, and resistance to shock, vibration and temperature variation. iFire’s proprietary solid-state, thick-film dielectric structure results in a simpler, high-yield manufacturing processes to produce high-performance displays at a lower price.
A. iFire’s thick-film dielectric electroluminescent (TDEL) display is based on inorganic electroluminescent (IEL) technology with a structure that combines both thick- and thin-film processes. IEL generates light by applying an alternating electrical field to inorganic light-emitting phosphors. Traditional IEL displays are bright, very fast in video response time, and highly tolerant of environmental extremes. However, the lack of full-color capability and large-size scalability has limited the applications for traditional IEL displays. By replacing the thin-film dielectric of conventional IEL technology with its patented thick-film dielectric material and structure, iFire removes these limitations.
A. Compared to other flat panel display technologies, iFire™ displays are simple in structure, more affordable to the mass consumer market, and have superior video performance characteristics. The manufacturing process of the iFire™ display is less sensitive to contaminations, involves fewer manufacturing steps and requires less expensive equipment and facilities to lower costs. iFire™ display's performance advantages include superior color quality, fast video response time, high brightness, wide viewing angles, wide operating temperature range and scalability.
